Episode 009: A Conversation with Joseph Bottum, Part 1
In this episode, Peter Leithart and James Jordan sit down for a conversation with Joseph Bottum. We recently had Joseph in town for the annual Birmingham Life and Culture Series lecture, where he lectured on The Protestant Origins of the Novel. Joseph is known for his writings on literary criticism, religion, and his short stories. Essayist and reviewer Mary Eberstadt has said that “his name would be mandatory on any objective short list of public intellectuals” in America.
